About PCM
The Project Controls community is a truly global affair-spanning all continents and a wide spectrum of industry sectors. But all are joined by a common thread-the huge value of Project Controls as a discipline within every significant Project Management exercise. The process, tools and techniques are constantly developing and the community continues to grow.
For this reason, the sharing of knowledge is vital to the successful implementation of all projects across the globe. Indeed this sharing is fundamental to the development of the project controls discipline. Fortunately, the vast majority of the processes offer a commonality, and hence there are very limited boundaries to sharing knowledge.
“It is in this spirit of education”, we launched Project Controls Expo (PCE) in the UK, Australia, USA and Malaysia as a dedicated space for our community to meet, connect and share their knowledge in a world-class venue. PCE offers a multi-streamed seminar programme, as well as workshops and a partner showcase in a hall full of suppliers.
‘Developing on the success of the PC Expo’
We are pleased to present the next step in the development of Project Controls Expo – Project Controls Meet (PCM). These bitesize gatherings of like-minded project controls professionals will take place in a more intimate environment in a diverse range of locations. The half-day gatherings will offer eight 30-minute presentations to a project professionals' community, followed by networking opportunities to discuss and debate the presentations, as well as wider issues and pain points in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Registration as a delegate is compulsory to ensure that we can assess numbers with optimal cost. All presentations will be recorded and subsequently published in the Project Controls TV channel which offers a growing library of education, inspiration, and information for the project controls community.
There will be eight 30-minute seminar presentations from a mix of end users, consultants and partners. This will be interspaced with networking opportunities within the partner showcase area.
